The comfort of Southern Comfort

I'm having a drink.
My first session was not a great one. I was fluctuating between even and $0.20 profit for most of it. I thought I might be able to change it when I was dealt kings and queens respectively, but both times I was coolered by aces. Fortunately, I managed to suck out with aces against J9 - the preflop nuts - and finished up $0.23 from 130 hands.
The next session was just plain shit.
One of my first hands reminded me why AQ is so terrible.

I felt like Mike McD.
It wasn't long before I busted on one table. I certainly wasn't playing well, but the deck was hovering around −273 °C.
Things started to look up as I won a reasonable pot with kings full of aces, but then my aces cracked to a river queen to give the BB with Q3 trips. The next time my aces were cracked, I lost it, and probably worried my flatmates.

I knew he had the flush, and I knew it was stupid to bet/call the river, but this didn't stop me from screaming expletives at the top of my voice for several minutes.
I ended the 198 hand session down $1.17. And that's why I'm drinking the Scotch.
