Nets - for fish

I'm looking at the sessions of today and yesterday, in graphic form. I've made a net loss, hence I've come to conclusion that nets are for fish only. I have made a net profit in November, however, so that's good.
After the frustration of the last session that I posted, I played another session, this one even worse. There's little need to say that there were coolers and bad beats in abundance, and that I wasn't at my best.
I will humour myself by including one particular hand.

PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $0.04 BB (10 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Preflop: Psychomobil is UTG with 6, 6 Psychomobil raises, 2 folds, MP1 calls, 4 folds, SB calls, 1 fold
Flop: (7 SB) 6, A, 3 (3 players) SB bets, Psychomobil calls, MP1 calls
Turn: (5 BB) J (3 players) SB bets, Psychomobil raises, MP1 calls, SB calls
River: (11 BB) 9 (3 players) SB checks, Psychomobil bets, MP1 raises, SB calls, Psychomobil 3-bets, MP1 caps, 1 fold, Psychomobil calls
Results: Psychomobil mucked 6, 6 (three of a kind, sixes). MP1 had A, A (three of a kind, Aces).
Outcome: MP1 won $0.80
I don't understand the retarded play of aces preflop in limit holdem. There's no room for it, other than when you flop the nuts and someone else flops the 2nd nuts.
I finished down a very distressing $1.57 from 174 hands.
I took a break of several hours, in which time I actually did some reading for my course. It was a riveting chapter on economic history of Britain between 1870 and 1939.
Then I decided to play again. This time, I was on top of things, I kept focus and, most importantly, the deck was closer to body temperature than absolute zero. I managed a $0.92 profit form a refreshing 69 hands.
Today, I've only played the one session so far. I made some good plays and good reads and was rewarded with a few donations.
PokerStars Limit Hold'em, $0.04 BB (9 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Preflop: Psychomobil is UTG with K, A Psychomobil raises, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 2 folds, CO calls, 2 folds, BB 3-bets, Psychomobil caps, MP1 calls, CO calls, BB calls
Flop: (16.5 SB) 6, 6, A (4 players) BB bets, Psychomobil calls, MP1 calls, CO calls
Turn: (10.25 BB) 7 (4 players) BB bets, Psychomobil calls, MP1 calls, CO calls
River: (14.25 BB) 10 (4 players) BB bets, Psychomobil calls, MP1 calls, CO calls
Results: BB had J, K (one pair, sixes). Psychomobil had K, A (two pair, Aces and sixes). MP1 mucked A, 9 (two pair, Aces and sixes). CO mucked K, K (two pair, Kings and sixes).
Outcome: Psychomobil won $0.66
The CO was unlucky with his kings in that spot, being 54% preflop, but he also played them terribly. In fact, I feel the whole table played their hands terribly, and I played mine the least terribly. I used to be terrible against terrible players such as the BB, but something Phil Galfond wrote about the motivations of these players - wanting to see showdowns and get action more than wanting to win money - really helped me.
I finished up $1.19 from 70 hands to give myself a net loss of $0.40 from today and yesterday. I've made a net profit of $1.82 in November, and a net profit of $7.96 since beginning this grind. It's a slow but enlightening one.
